FSU has implemented some changes in how faculty, staff, and students use DUO for two-factor authentication to access their FSU accounts. Starting in Summer 2021, you will be required to use the DUO mobile app or a token to gain access to FSU systems - the 2FA phone call and text message options will no longer be available. FSU's Information Technology Services (ITS) department has been leading this initiative and has developed a number of self-help articles published to their ITS Knowledge Base. These are a few links to the ITS resources that can help you get started and address frequently asked questions about DUO's smartphone app and two-factor authentication (2FA):
If do not find what you are looking for in this list of ITS support articles, you can find additional resources in the ITS Knowledge Base.
If you experience any difficulty with accessing your FSU account, please contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance. At the moment, they are receiving a higher than normal call volume with long wait times, so you may experience difficulty calling their phone support line at 850-644-4357 (850-644-HELP). It may be best to submit a ticket instead. If you are locked out of your account, simply use the guest sign in option and provide your FSUID in the ticket that you fill out and submit.
