11/07/2019: Canvas Service Disruption on 11/6 [Resolved]

Many users experienced 500 errors while attempting various Canvas activities between at 8:14pm and 8:58pm ET on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. This service degradation resulted in users getting page errors and being unable to access Canvas. The issue causing this service degradation has been fixed and the Canvas system has returned to normal system status. Thank you for your patience while Canvas engineers worked towards a resolution.
