Students: Muting notifications for a single course

Canvas offers you the option to mute all of the notifications from a single course. Muting notifications will prevent this course from sending notifications to your FSU email account or to your mobile device via push notifications.
Caution: Muting a course's notifications may cause you to miss important announcements from your instructor or activities within your course sites. We only recommend switching off notifications for an old course you have already completed or an old organization that you are no longer actively participating in.
Managing Notification Settings
Please follow the steps outlined below to manage your Notification Settings:

First, click on the Account option on Canvas's
Global Navigation
bar and click the Notifications option.

You can then select the course by clicking on the
Settings for
drop-down menu and select the desired course. This is set to display your
Account notifications by default.

You can then Enable or Disable all notifications for a course by toggling
the setting on or off.
