Annoto Personal Notes

Annoto Personal Notes is a feature that allows students or instructors to make time-tagged notes while watching videos. These notes are visible only to the individual who made them and help link notes to a particular part of a video for easy reference.  You can use your personal notes to summarize the video, reflect on the content, add questions\thoughts\ideas\insights, bookmark specific moments, and more. The Annoto Personal Notes Space is available on Kaltura videos all across Canvas.

Start using Personal Notes

  1. To access the Annoto Personal Notes Space, simply select the speech bubble icon in the top-right corner of a video in your course.
  2. A panel will slide out from the right side.  Select the clipboard and pencil icon to open Personal Notes.

Download your notes

The notes you make can be exported and downloaded so you can save them, edit them, print them, submit them, etc.
