Top Hat offers tools to provide interactive textbooks and allows instructors to administer classroom attendance, discussions, assignments, quizzes, and tests. After connecting aTop Hat course with a Canvas course, Top Hat allows instructors to send invitations to students and sync grades into Canvas. Note: these are tools that Canvas already supplies at no extra cost to the student. Top Hat, however, uses a student pay model for each Top Hat course, which can add significant extra costs to students.
