Gradescope is an online platform that utilizes AI to simplify and streamline grading for instructors. It supports various assignment types, including paper-based, digital, bubble-sheet, and coding assignments. Gradescope connects within our Canvas LMS and syncs its roster to your class roster, so connecting students with their assignments and getting them feedback is easy, quick, and direct.

  • Flexible Submissions: Students can submit assignments in different formats, such as scanned handwritten work, PDFs, and digital files.

Where to Access Gradescope

Gradescope is nested within your Canvas Course Assignments. Follow the directions below for navigation within your course.

  1. Select Assignments from your left-hand navigation menu in your course.

  2. Select the Assignment settings button to trigger the drop-down menu.

  3. Select Gradescope from the drop-down menu to open the iframe and begin using Gradescope inside your Canvas course.
