Occasionally, the Canvas Gradebook may turn a column of scores for a quiz into a bunch of rocket ship icons:

If this happens, you can retrieve your students' scores by doing the following for each quiz displaying the rocket ship icons:

1. On the course navigation menu, select Quizzes.
   
2. Locate the affected quiz on the Quizzes page and click on the quiz title.
   
3. Click the Edit button located at the top of the page.
   
4. Click on the Quiz Type drop-down menu and select Practice Quiz.
   
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the garnet Save button.
6. Edit the quiz again by click the Edit button located at the top of the page.
   
7. Click on the Quiz Type drop-down menu and change the quiz back to a graded quiz.
   
8. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the garnet Save button.

Please note: It may take a few minutes for the Gradebook to repopulate your students' scores.
